'''Sidequest: Check Out That Tree''' is one of the sidequests of the game. It is a relatively short quest, and is available as soon as the player is able to fully access [[Route 3]]. 

==Completing the Sidequest==
This sidequest is obtained from Bug Catcher Jim in the southern part of [[Route 3]]. He'll point to a tree with a hole to the east of him, claiming to have seen an interesting Pokémon inside of it.

This sidequest is completed upon encountering a [[Regional Variant|Altaran]] [[Beedrill]] by checking this tree. This may require checking the tree multiple times in order to do so. 

However, since Bug Catcher Jim is a skippable trainer, it is possible to immediately complete this sidequest upon receiving it. This requires the player to encounter Beedrill in the tree before defeating Jim.
