Ninetales (Japanese: キュウコン Kyukon) is a Fire-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It has an Alolan Regional Variant that is Ice- and Fairy-Type.
It evolves from Vulpix when exposed to a Fire Stone. Alolan Ninetales evolves from Alolan Vulpix when exposed to an Ice Stone.
Kantonian Ninetales can Mega Evolve into Mega Ninetales using the Ninetalesite, while Alolan Ninetales can Mega Evolve into Mega Ninetales A using the Ninetalesite A.
