Cacnea (Japanese: サボネア Sabonea) is a Grass-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It has an Altaran Regional Variant that is Grass- and Water-Type.

Regardless of form, it evolves into Cacturne starting at level 32.

Altaran Cacnea was designed and sprited by Keileon.

Cacnea live in deserts with virtually no rainfall. It battles by swinging its thick, spiked arms. Once a year, a yellow flower blooms.
Altaran Cacnea
Found primarily on tropical islands, Altaran Cacnea uses its palm-like tail to stay cool in the heat of midday. When attacked, it slams enemies with this tail and escapes up a nearby tree.
