Wither is a non-damaging Grass-type move introduced in Pokémon Sardonyx: Raised to Win.

Effect

If used by a Grass-type Pokémon, Wither will raise its Attack, Sp. Attack, and Speed stats and cause the user to lose its Grass type. Wither fails if the user is not Grass-type, making the move always fail after the first use until the Pokémon regains its Grass type (either by switching out, or other type changing effects such as through Protean or Reflect Type).

If the user is a pure Grass-type Pokémon, it will become typeless.

Like all type changing effects, the Pokémon's type reverts to its default types if it is switched out.

A Pokémon with Protean cannot successfully use Wither unless it already is Grass-type; otherwise, Wither will fail and Protean will not activate.
