Contents
Gameplay
Lag and Framerate
- The faster the game speed is set, the longer certain things such as evolution and dialogue pauses take
- Radio/Jukebox creates significant lag
Following Pokémon
- During a pause in dialogue, such as a cutscene, if the player is facing their following Pokémon and mashes the interaction button the cutscene will be interrupted by Following Pokémon dialogue. This will crash the game if done in the Pokémon Center.
- This happens even during the Kaden scene, where the Pokémon has been forcibly recalled
- If the player blacks out before speaking to the nurse at a Pokémon Center after receiving their starter Pokémon, their following Pokémon will be cloned upon healing at the Shardil Pokémon Center.
- This is a result of how Following Pokémon's script is coded not to remove dependencies when sending the player back home. However in this game's case, the player's home is set to be the Shardil Town Pokémon Center.
- NPCs are able to walk through following Pokémon.
- The game attempts to send out the following Pokemon with both animation and sound effect whenever entering a new map (including buildings) regardless of whether the Pokemon is fainted or not
Movement
- Several tiles are passable when they shouldn't be.
Battles
- In a wild double battle, if your only remaining Pokemon is the one in your second slot, you are unable to throw Pokeballs.
- If the player's Pokemon faints and the attacker becomes confused (such as by Thrash or Outrage) the fainted Pokemon will be able to attack for an extra turn before the game prompts a switch.
Audio
- Ambient Pokemon cries often play immediately upon loading the game or exiting a battle
Visual
- Text during battle may randomly shrink.
- Random line breaks in dialogue
