This page is for the upcoming version's Changelog. These changes are sometimes reflected on this wiki via the above "Future" template. In the event that there is a change or fix that we consider to be a spoiler, or want to keep hidden until the patch is released, the relevant note will be omitted.

- Bugfixes:
- Fixed the follower attempting to give the player a Wonder Pass or Rematch Pass crashing the game
- Fixed not being able to cancel most post-battle evolutions
- Fixed Tenpo having Kaden's vs sprite
- Corrected a Pokedex typo that implied that Helioptile lives in food.
- Fixed Curse not working for Ghost-types
- Fixed Metallic animation not appearing for wild Pokemon
- Fixed Intoxicate
- Fixed Blitzle's evolution
- Gave Crash his Rocky Helmet back
- Changed the font check message to try to guide players on how to fix that bug themselves.
- Fixed Precise working for all damaging moves

- Balance and exploit fixes:
- Changes to Hard Mode:
- The healing machines in Spruce's lab and the Rubina Precinct now cost a flat 500 Poké to use.
- The woman in the house on Route 4 East will no longer heal you after the associated quest.
- Changes to the Altaran Charmander line:
- Divine Right replaced by Corrosive Breath in their movesets
- Altaran Charizard still learns it, but much later
- Having any member of the evolution line in the party now triggers the anti-cheat
- If you still have the Charmander from the Mystery Gift in 2.0, too bad. We recommended multiple times to restart your save.

- Level and obedience changes:
- The credits shop in Ironis Black Market no longer has Rare Candies in stock
- Rare Candies no longer level up Pokémon past the obedience cap
- Blame people exploiting this to hell for these changes. -- Kuda
- Pokemon now are disobedient 80% of the time if they are past the obedience cap
- Raised the price of the Affogato again
- Affogato now only reduces a Pokemon to level 2 if they were obtained at level 1
- Move and Ability changes:
- Changes to Burnout
- It will probably actually work
- Burnout no longer activates on status moves
- Burnout no longer activates if the Pokemon already changed its stats this turn
- Pokemon that activate Burnout's effect are now subject to increased damage from Lash Out
- Bellow is now a Fake Out variant, having its BP bumped up to 40 and PP lowered to 10
- Changes to Burnout
- The Altaran Ralts from the Landlady sidequest and the starter from Tenpo are now marked as special Pokemon and can no longer be given to suppliers
- Slightly docked Altaran Dunsparce's attacking stats to 45.
- Adjusted Thievul's base stats for a net gain of 10 points.
- Changes to Hard Mode:
- Graphics:
- Shiny Metallic Pokemon are now called Radiant Pokemon.
- Added a new location to the region map.
- Fixed sprites:
- Busted Mimikyu is now the correct color.
- Bought Kaiser a new scarf and paled his complexion
- Gave normal Magearna its correct shiny color.
- Made a completely new sprite for Mega Charizard S.
- Finally gave Altaran Qwilfish overworlds.
- Gave new Metallics to every Pokemon
- These use a new filter or a custom palette more true to the term "metallic". Pokemon in dex order up to Magcargo have the custom palette; most other Pokemon use a filter as a placeholder.

- Swapped Altaran Kingler's normal Abilities, which were mistakenly in the wrong order.
- Swapped around Vaporeon's Abilities. Its normal abilities are now Water Absorb and Restore, Hidden are Hydration and Drizzle, and Mega is Swift Swim.
- The following Pokemon have gotten secondary normal Abilities where they had none:
- The Zubat line now has Echolocation.
- The Oddish line now has Natural Cure.
- The Bellsprout line now has Leaf Guard.
- The Dratini line now has Swift Swim.
- Mew and Mewtwo now have Power Spot.
- Galarian Farfetch'd and Sirfetch'd have Super Luck.
- The Buizel line now has Propeller Tail.
- The Gastly line now has Frisk.
- The Exeggcute line now has Analytic.
- Vibrava and Flygon now have Cacophony.
- The following Pokemon have gained a primary Hidden Ability where they had none:
- Mew now has Elementalist.
- Alolan Raichu now has Levitate.

- The following Pokemon have had Abilities replaced:
- The Noibat line has replaced Frisk with Echolocation.
- The Litleo line has replaced Unnerve with Cacophony.
- Absol has replaced Justified with Martyr.
- The following Pokemon have gained secondary Hidden Abilities:
- The Igglybuff line now has Moody.
- The Zubat line now has Frightful.
- The Oddish line now has Harvest.
- Kantonian Paras line now has Natural Cure, while Altaran has Liquid Ooze.
- Both forms of Venonat now have Fluffy. Kantonian Venomoth has Dazzling, and Altaran has Battery.
- Both forms of Diglett now have Quick Feet. Kantonian Dugtrio has Mold Breaker, and Alolan has Snare.
- Kantonian Meowth line has Normalize, Alolan has Pickpocket, and Galarian has Frightful.
- The Psyduck line now has Second Sight.
- Kantonian Mankey line now has Strong Will, and Altaran has Quick Wit.
- The Poliwag line now has Dry Skin, except for Politoed, who has Cacophony.
- The Machop line now has Reckless.
- The Bellsprout line now has Solar Power.
- The Tentacool line now has Merciless.
- Kantonian Geodude line now has Sand Stream, and Alolan has Lightning Rod.
- Kantonian Ponyta line now has Accelerate, and Galarian has Natural Cure.
- The Dratini line now has Elementalist.
- Mewtwo now has Berserk, and Mew has Quick Wit.
- The Litleo line now has Burnout.
- Kantonian Slowpoke line now has Inner Focus, while Galarian has Immunity, which changes into Poison Point (Slowbro) or Poison Touch (Slowking).
- Both forms of Farfetch'd, as well as Sirfetch'd, have Sap Sipper.
- Heracross has Sap Sipper.
- The Doduo line now has Gale Wings.
- The Seel line now has Fur Coat.
- The Buizel line now has Drizzle.
- Both forms of the Grimer line now have Liquid Ooze.
- Shellder has Weak Armor, while Cloyster has Iron Barbs.
- The Gastly line now has Infiltrator.
- Onix now has Sand Force, while Steelix has Sand Stream.
- The Drowzee line now has Anticipation.
- Krabby now has Klutz, Kantonian Kingler has Defiant, and Altaran Kingler has Heavy Metal.
- The Voltorb line now has Overclock.
- Exeggcute has Telepathy, Kantonian Exeggutor has Psychic Surge, and Alolan has Grassy Surge.
- Applin has Stiffen, Flapple has Spendthrift, and Appletun has Conservative.
- The Cubone line now has Weak Armor.
- Tyrogue now has Chaotic, while all of its evolutions have Receiver.
- Lickitung now has Gluttony, because it really should have already.
- The Trapinch line now has Sand Stream.
- The Koffing line now has Aftermath.
- Moves:
- Girafarig now has Magic Room as an Egg Move.
- Stantler now has Trick Room as an Egg Move.
- Wooloo now learns Rollout instead of Copycat.
- Razor Wind is now Flying type.
- Encounters:
- Uses a modified version of Essentials 19/19.1 encounter system, so now we have a bit more flexibility with encounter tables
- Fletchling is now available in Route 1 normal grass
- Shroomish, Stantler, and Altaran Paras are now available in Jadit Ruins exterior
- Charmander and Aron now have encounter data set for them ahead of 3.0
- Teddiursa has been removed from Peridot Forest, replaced with Joltik
- Trubbish can now be found in the Condemned Buildings in Rubina
- Map and event changes:
- Lots of small map changes across the region. Most of these won't be noticeable, like moving a couple of tiles or adding a tree.
- Rubina Gym has been completely remapped.
- The condemned buildings in Rubina have also been completely remapped. Events may respawn on saves from before the change.
- Added or changed several NPCs across the region
- Many of these are in Ironis Black Market, some of which only show up after escaping Team Mortis.
- The Haxorus on the battlefield is now an Altaran Krookodile.
- A new quest can be started, though not completed, after rescuing Calico.
- Dusty no longer belongs to the woman in Amaris. Instead, she's dogsitting him for her cousin.
- An NPC in Ironis now recognizes if you have good hygeine by giving you an item if you've washed your hands enough.
- Added a reference somewhere.
- Changed a reference elsewhere.
- Many of these are in Ironis Black Market, some of which only show up after escaping Team Mortis.
- Added a bunch of berry trees to various areas, notably Amaris City.
- Kaiser will now be at the PC in Citrivale once the story events are over, and will go sit down when you speak with him. He will still leave upon entering the gate to Route 5.
- The player can now attempt to pet Renegade.
- Misc changes:
- Sound effects, including Pokemon cries, are being volume balanced to better fall in line with the rest of the game's audio.
- Fishing now has guaranteed bite, but the player must react within 5 seconds to successfully hook the Pokemon
- Pokemon marked as special now have a 20% chance of avoiding death in a deathmatch and fainting as normal.
- This will occur only once, with the Pokemon being marked as having survived death. They will die the next time they faint in a deathmatch.
- EVO Day now has a few more Fun Fact lines and picks from a list of dialogue when activated, currently containing three unique greetings.
