Story: Come to My Lab is the first Story Quest of the game. It is followed immediately by Story: Gotta Catch 'em All!. In this quest, the player is told to travel through Route 1 to Shardil Town.
When the player attempts to exit Granite Town, they are stopped by the rival (Mary or Jordan) and the two encounter Looker disguised as a tree in the middle of the road. After a conversation with Looker, they continue down Route 1 and enter Shardil Town.
