Citrivale City is the fifth city the player reaches, after a long journey through Route 4 and Peridot Forest.
The city is embedded into a mountain and, since it is close to the sea, has its own docks. Like most other cities and towns in Altaris Citrivale has a park and a larger grassy area next to the lighthouse. Pokémon are hiding between the seaweed-like grass and inside the abandoned lighthouse. After Rubina City it is the second time the player can earn a badge inside the local Gym.

Places of Interest
Citrivale City Gym
Overlooking the sea Citrivale City Gym can be found on top of the eastern plateau. The player may challenge it at any point during the game.
Abandoned Lighthouse
Towering on top of the western plateau is the Abandoned Lighthouse. Because of an incident in the past this old lighthouse is no longer maintained, with debris blocking most paths. Only a few species of Pokémon are still inhabiting it.
Dynamo's House
The last, bigger house to the east is owned by Dynamo, the Gym Leader of Citrivale City. Three of his Pokémon, namely Jolteon, Electivire and Zebstrika, can be encountered inside.
Name Rater
Next to the park entrance, inside the small house, lives the Name Rater. He is willing to change the name of the players Pokémon.
Bike Shop
South of the Pokémon Center, the building with a bike hanging at the front is indeed a Bike Shop. After completing Sidequest: Get Rid of Them the player is rewarded with a Skateboard.
Berry Juice Shop
Just north to the Pokémon Center a chef opened a stand. The various juices here offer the opposite effect from the berry each specific juice is made out of.
