Granite Town's location in the Altaris Region

Granite Town is the starting town of Altaris. The main protagonists live here together with their families. The town itself is quite large and shows, true to its slogan, the foundation of what most towns and cities in Altaris have to offer. Several patches of grass, ponds and of course a Pokémon Center and a Pokémart. Unique to the starting areas of Altaris is the fact that Pokémon don't attack people, unless they have a Pokémon of their own. This makes traversing through grass a lot less dangerous to new trainers, who have yet to pick up their starter Pokémon.

Places of Interest

Jordan's house

Located in the west of Granite Town, to the left of the Pokémon Center, is the house in which the male protagonist lives. His mother and L, a Lucario gifted from his brother long ago, live here as well. If the player chooses to play as Jordan he can access his Laptop to manage Items and the mailbox outside will reflect the name the player chose for him.

Mary's house

Located in the east of Granite Town, to the right of the Pokémart, is the house in which the female protagonist lives. Her mother and Cherish, a Quilava that once belonged to her father, live here as well. If the player chooses to play as Mary she can access her Laptop to manage Items and the mailbox outside will reflect the name the player chose for her.

Events of Interest

Sidequest: Lost Puppy

Just to the left of Jordan's house is another building in which Connie can be found. Her Growlithe has gone missing and the player can take up her request and go look for it. This quest can be started and completed right at the beginning of the game, without even getting the starter Pokémon.
