1/23/2019 - Patch 2.6
- Implemented EVO's Password functionality.
- Hints may spawn in certain locations, allowing players to guess passwords without looking at our Twitter, Discord, or Wiki.
- To enter a password, navigate to EVO's Settings menu. Passwords are case sensitive!
- (Experimental) If a Pokémon evolves and their evolution isn't already registered in the Pokédex, their entry will be displayed
- Music changes
- Rhodie now has an encounter theme
- Noro now has his own battle theme
- A few more themes have been added for Legendary Pokémon. (Good for those encounters in Randomizer)
- Changes to Altaran Luxio and Luxray
- Anticipation has been replaced with a new ability, Clairvoyance
- Their ability slots have been swapped to be consistent with Shinx. Those with Anticipation will gain Intimidate while those with Intimidate will gain Clairvoyance
- Lone Eggs are now guaranteed to hatch with their Hidden Ability.
- Escape attempts will always be successful when against thieves, angry parents, or guardians
- Cofagrigus guardians in Jadit Ruins have altered movesets
- Rhodie's levels have been raised on Hard Mode.
- Fixed the battle background when fishing on the dock in Rubina.
- The trainer on Citrivale Docks now has after-battle dialogue.
- Coding for EV-Lowering berries and their respective juices adjusted to display correct messages
- Because life sucks, more fucking bag edits
- Bag burning option removed from bag
- Luster Purge and Mist Ball have recieved power buffs.
- Male player now has correct trainer card graphic
- Starter Pokémon and Pokémon holding Mega Stones now show special icons in the party menu.
- Jordan and Mary now use their running graphics when chasing Kaden's Pichu
- Large fountains in cities are no longer frozen like they came from the future in PMD2

- Eliminated a bit of code from phenomenon testing that prevented Rock Smash and fishing encounters from working

- Removed some grass on Route 3 that the player would never be able to see anyway
- Fixed an issue where Altaran Pidgey's Ability would change upon evolution
- Fixed Noro not appearing on Route 4 on Hard Mode.

- EVO is now set to have a line for Jadit Cavern (identical to Jadit Ruins, for now)
- EVO's Fun Fact about type matchups now includes the change to Poison.
- Fixed Stomping Tantrum being Special rather than Physical
- Route 3 event redone again to stop event blinking
- To explain the blinking to begin with, I was trying to figure out how to handle the event that clears the path for the player after the school tournament while taking into account a run-in with Noro. Unfortunately, that was clearly not the best way to handle it, and thus it is changed again. My apologies for any confusion/inconveniences this caused. (-L2XG)
- As a result however, if you are on Hard Mode and haven't entered Rubina or have given Noro a Nidoran but haven't obtained the next sidequest from battling him and enter Route 3 from Emeralis, you will have to battle Noro again.
- Psychic in Peridot Forest no longer invisible after being defeated
- Discovered the line of code turning Manectric's form to true after battles and fixed it
- (Hopefully) fixed the issue with storage box backgrounds not showing up
- The Ability Piscivore should no longer confuse the AI and throw an error message.
- Fixed yet another instance of the wrong pronoun being used for the female player
- Jadit Ruins Rhydon statue tile properties have been edited

- Dust clouds can be found in Jadit Cavern and Ironis Tunnel
- Currently an issue where a normal wild battle will still occur when walking into a phenomenon, possibly resulting in two battles in a row
- Finally fixed a long-running typo where every box in every medium house would contain "electrinics" manuals.

- Jadit Cavern should now have music.
- The Legendary Birds, Mewtwo, the Legendary Beasts and Ho-Oh now have their themes ready to play for their respective battles

- Poké Balls obtained as item balls should no longer crash the game
- Fixed the TM-crashing-the-game thing again

- Mitigated an unusual bug with certain Pokémon's forms being set to true

- Fixed an error with various Poké Balls
- Fixed an infinite dialogue loop with EVO Day
- The Poké Balls pouch of the bag is no longer called "FUCKING BALLS"
- Fixed an exit in Jadit Ruins to prevent the player from getting stuck. Major oversight I did not think of.
- Trying to use a TM with Altaran Charizard in the party should no longer result in a crash.
10/25/2018 - Patch 2.4
- The entrances to Jadit Ruins have mysteriously opened!
- Replaced several Wiis with the superior Generic Game Console.
- Several night fogs should now actually work
- Guy in Rattata-infested house is more clear about talking to the deliveryman
- Dead Pokémon no longer play their cries in the summary page
- Variable Game Speed button has been changed to Tab
- F8 now saves screenshots as PNG images rather than BMPs
- The player can no longer endanger themselves by running between the deathmatch happening in Ironis Black Market.
- Noro's initial quest now shows the correct sprite in the quest log.
- Citrivale Lighthouse encounter density reduced to 10. I think people get the idea now.
- Rocks now have a chance of dropping items. Why that isn't part of Essentials v16.2, I'll never know.
- Altaran Parasect now has overworld sprites
- Pokémon caught and added to party no longer immediately evolve if at or above their level requirement
- New option added to EVO: Settings
- Most don't work yet, however Restore Team is for those whose teams were not properly brought back after a deathmatch

- The television the gamers are playing on at the Citrivale Bike Shop is now actually on.
- Rubina no longer has a tear in spacetime.
- We can also guarantee that nothing came through it.
- The Affogato should no longer crash the game.
- A girl in Ironis is now properly bad at math.
- Changed the layout of Ironis Tunnel.
- Moooore typos...
- Another Circuit Trainer properly returns your team.
- Another Rattata refrains from crashing the game.
- Updated region map
- Fixed a softlock involving the twins on Route 4
- Bag script edited slightly to fix left arrow and force pocket to the Items Pocket should your last pocket number be higher than max number of pockets for whatever reason
- Updated Altaran Sigilyph's abilities
- Changed Altaran Paras, Parasect, Noctowl, and Sigilyph's base stats (something I forgot to do for 2.2)
- Note: You may experience some negative changes when leveling them up. This is ironically normal as the Pokémon readjust their stats to match up with their altered base stats.
- Healing point coordinates readjusted in a few cities.
- This should fix Teleporting into the wrong locations and potentially getting stuck as a result.
- A speciality shop in Granite is now open.
- Although you'll need to have gotten to Citrivale first.
- Fixed an error with one of Jordan's teams not loading for the double battle in Route 5

- Because we still keep getting people reporting bugs when not on 2.2.2, we've added the current version number to the load menu.

- (Forgot to note in the changelog for a past update, so noting it now.) Poison is super effective on Water.
- Dynamo is (technically) ready for a rematch. Just show him a Rematch Pass.
- Currently, Rematch Tickets are only available as a very rare item obtained through your following Pokémon.
- Dark map script slightly adjusted. Now Citrivale's circle of vision properly readjusts itself at the end of battles
- Citrivale Gym Trainer events adjusted.

- Several new types of Poké Balls have been added
- Two of them can be bought from PokéMarts upon beating their city's Gym
- Another can be crafted by Ophrys should you be willing to give him the right item
- All of these are Supplier options
- Related to this, a number of trainer classes have been assigned these new Poké Balls for their Pokémon

- Fixed some typos.
- Adjusted an error in EVO's coding.
- Fixed some issues with backtracking on files made before 2.2.
- Fixed an error where some deathmatches would not restore the rest of the player's team.
- October Ghost Pokemon no longer retain the held items of Pokemon they were originally.
- Mummy now works properly.

- Noro's introduction scene should no longer softlock the game on Hard Mode.
- Fixed Peridot Forest's October fog.
- Wild Heracross will no longer be Mega Evolved.
- The Pokemon Center now costs 200 Poké to use in Hard Mode.
9/30/2018 - Demo 2.2
- [IMPORTANT] Added a launcher and patcher for the game. Due to updated organization, you should delete your game folder entirely before downloading this update (your save files will be fine!)
- [EXPERIMENTAL] In an effort to reduce lag, removed all "Outdoor Light" events from maps that have night fogs.
- Pokemon now die when they are killed.
- (Dead Pokemon no longer heal in the PC)
- (Dead Pokemon with HP will lose all HP when deposited in the PC)
- (Dead Pokemon with HP can no longer battle)
- (Dead Pokemon with HP no longer follow you)
- (Dead Pokemon with HP are no longer affected by healing items)
- Adjustments to Double Battle scripting have been made.
- You can now throw a Poké Ball with your second Pokémon if your first Pokémon is in the middle of a two-turn move.
- Otherwise, using a Poké Ball with your second Pokémon (and failing to do so as intended) will no longer use it up.
- Your second Pokémon's turn will be properly skipped upon failing to catch a Pokémon.
- You can now throw a Poké Ball with your second Pokémon if your first Pokémon is in the middle of a two-turn move.
- A few new regional variants have been added.
- Altaran Noctowl will evolve from normal Hoothoot.
- Altaran Paras can now be found in the wild.
- Altaran Sigilyph can now be found in the wild.
- Altaran Qwilfish can now be found in the wild, but only in Randomizer Mode.
- Rewrote a line of the game's intro.
- Intro edited to (hopefully) not cause any weirdness when canceling name choices.
- The PC should no longer start without wallpaper.
- Added new region map.
- Spruce lab event edited to deal with edgeposition a bit.
- Lab event also allows a brief moment after obtaining starter to check on your newly obtained Pokémon. Perfect for those attempting to SR for nature/shiny/metallic. Just talk to Spruce after obtaining your starter to progress.
- Noro finally gets some love. His story has been expanded.
- The game will now remember if the Nidoran you give Noro is nicknamed, as well as its Nature and Ability.
- Noro now has unique sprites.
- Noro now properly introduces himself to you.
- Noro's storyline is now mandatory on Hard Mode.
- He will no longer appear in Shardil Town on Hard Mode to give you a sidequest, and instead is introduced to you in the lab.
- Several fixes to EVO have been implemented.

- Fixed exit event in the Police Station to prevent the rival from calling the player multiple times.

- Edited home data for the game to take into account the altered Pokémon Center maps.

- Fixed tile properties so the player can't walk on the PokéMart in Citrivale City or to the edge of the map in Rubina City.

- Shiny Metallic Lycanroc Dawn is now consistent with the other forms.

- Several NPCs are no longer mute.
- Previously blank signs now have words on them.
- Ted and Frank don't interrupt their conversation to look at you.
- Your rival should no longer refer to you as PN in Cafe Calico.
- Actually added night fogs to Ironis City and Route 6.
- Corrected Charred Pathway's battle background.
- Corrected some infinitely-spawning items.
- Professor Spruce no longer lies about your Pokémons' obedience cap.
- Added some healing NPCs to ease the journey through Peridot Forest.

- Acento no longer repeats himself when talking about Lugia.
- An NPC complaining about a video game now correctly sits at her computer.
- Changed Zoltan's dialogue for defeating the player on Hard Mode.

- Giving the Love Ball to Margot properly completes the quest given by Ophrys.

- An NPC's rulebook now has 50 rules.

- Solosis now begins with Confusion as well as Psywave.

- Randomizer mode has finally been altered to no longer take into account preset movesets.
- There'll still be a few exceptions, though.
- Single wild battle script is modified slightly to take into account a Pokémon's species when choosing BGM to play.
- Currently only applies to Legendary Titans, Super Ancient Pokemon, Deoxys, Giratina, Aura Trio, Guardian Deities, Solgaleo, Lunala, confirmed Ultra Beasts, and Zeraora.
- Implemented an NPC that makes it possible to get Glaceon, among other Pokemon that evolve at certain locations.
- Jordan, Mary, Noro and Acento have new battle themes.
- Altaran Pidgey, Pidgeotto, and Pidgeot's ally targets in double battles have been altered.
- Altaran Growlithe can be evolved using either a Fire Stone or a Water Stone.
- Headbutt is no longer a field move.
- Condemned Building's encounter density has been slightly reduced.
- Changed the graphic being used for item balls.
- Added items and berry trees to various locations.

- Registered item scripting has been altered slightly. Now both F5 and Y bring up a menu of multiple registered items.
- Fixed the name space limit for the Name Rater to be 12 characters instead of 10.
- Changed the Rubina Police Station building tiles.
- Citrivale Lighthouse 1F now has encounters
- It also has an encounter density of 97. So those complaining about constant encounters in the Condemned Building maps with its original encounter density of 10 compared to normal grass density of 25... this map now exists. You're welcome.
- Adjusted the badge graphics.
- Adjusted Route 4 with new fences and a shortcut past Peridot Forest.
- This also showcases the ability to use the Skateboard to hop up certain ledges.
- Also added a sign to Peridot Forest and made the "correct" paths more prominent for the directionally-challenged.
- Added a new sidequest to Amaris.
- Alolan Vulpix can no longer learn Flamethrower.
- Steelworker now works properly.
- Acento has more lines when traveling with you. Just talk to him when he's at the start of Route 5 and 6.
